America Xreader Song Fic Shine On.

That was the last straw. The three “friends” you had, had taken their “all fun and games” a little too far.

You sat alone and crying, trying to figure out what to do, or who to talk to. Then it hit you. He had been right the whole time. Alfred, your best friend, and you didn’t even realize it.

All the time wasted with the “Bad touch trio”, too much time. You spent all your time with the three, but they only used you…

Then one day, Prussia, wanted to use you in a different way, and when you didn’t let that happen. They just dropped you off like an abandoned dog on the side of the road.

“A-Alfred?” You had called him, you needed him, he was all you had left…

“Yo (Name), are you alright?” He asked in a concerned tone

“C-Can you come over?” You sniffled

“Yeah. I’ll be there as fast as I can.” His voice was soft and caring, just what you needed to hear, from your best friend.

You fixed yourself up, so you wouldn’t look like a train wreak, though, there wasn’t much you could do about the bruises on your arms from the extreme pressure Prussia used to hold you down, a long sleeved shirt would have to do for that.

………………………………………………………………………………………..

‘Deep in your heat there was a diamond shining bright, every dark place you passed by turned into light.’

Alfred was stunned by the sight in front of him when you answered the door, his bubbly friend was gloomy and sad, hurt and crying. “(Name), what happened?”

‘But someone broke into your heat and blew out your lights, And your sparkling little diamond turned pale overnight.’

“You were right about them Alfie. They, they hurt me.” You began to cry.

Alfred held you close to him in a tight hug. “What did they do to you?” He said in an angry tone of voice.

‘What the hell has become of a pretty girl so sweet and nice, Where have remained your insatiable thirst after life.’

You looked up at him, your hands placed on his chest, you didn’t say a word, but the look you gave him said everything.

‘Girl whatever they have done to you, where ever you are, No ever so big a force on Earth could kill a burning heart.’

He held you closer, his eye burned with his own tears for you, but the pressure he had on you made you cry out in pain. He let you go. “Show me.” He said.

‘Shine on, Shine on.’
‘Don’t let the bastards drag you down.’
‘Shine on like a torch does in a storm.’
‘Shine on and on, and keep the fires burning.’
‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’

You didn’t want to show him but you knew if you didn’t he would find a way to make you.

“Please (Name), let me see.”

‘Your train ran off the rails, hey girl you didn’t lay the track, If you wanna reach for the sky you have to go through hell and back.’

You had him turn around as you slipped off the long sleeved shirt to be in just a tank top.  “Alright.” You said

He turned back around and his eye widened at the sight. Bruises on your arms and collar bone in the shape of hands were imprinted on your skin.

Alfred reached his hand out to touch, but stopped half way and let his hand drop. “Bastards.” He said with angry tears streaming down his face.

‘Don’t deliver girl, let me take you by the hand, at the end of the rainbow the way of cross still ends.’

Alfred took your hand in his and brought it up to his lips. “Please, let me love you.” He said softly.

You felt as if your heart had melted at his words. He loved you. How could you not see that? And now, here you are broken down, and who came to save you? Alfred did. “Only if you let me love you. I-I’m sorry for all of this all my mistakes…I love you.” You said begging for him, like you had to.

‘Shine on, Shine on.’
‘Don’t let the bastards drag you down.’
‘Shine on like a torch does in a storm.’
‘Shine on and on, and keep the fires burning.’
‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’

“Let’s rest tonight, tomorrow we will make those bastards pay.” He said lifting you up gently and placing you on your bed. He crawled in next to you and held on tightly.

Happy tears streamed down your face. You may have been broken down, but Alfred knew that all you needed to do was…shine on..

‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’
‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’
‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’
‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’
‘Don’t let the bastards drag you down.’

‘Shine on, Shine on.’
‘Don’t let the bastards drag you down.’
‘Shine on like a torch does in a storm.’
‘Shine on and on, and keep the fires burning.’
‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’

‘Shine on, shine on, shine on.’
‘Don’t let the bastards drag you down.’

“I love you Alfred. You’re my hero.”
