Elfman XAbused!Reader Part 1
What a real man would do.




Elfamn and Lisanna set off together on a job. So up in the frigid cold of Mount Hakobe, they searched for the special ‘item’ their employer sent them up there to retrieve. “S-So c-cold…” Elfamn shivered.

“Oh man up big brother! This isn’t that hard of a job.” Lisanna teased.

“You’re right! A real man would finish the job BEFORE Frost bite kicks in!” Elfamn said triumphantly. Lisanna only giggled a bit as she hugged her coat a bit closer and they continued their search.

….

You stumbled through the snow freezing, literally. You had no coat and hardly any actual clothing. Your legs eventually stopped working, the cold too much for them to take. You fell on your knees into thee snow. “I die here…” You said with a cracked voice.

“I’m going to go this way and look.” Elfman said walking away from his younger sister. “I’ll meet you back here!”

She shouted an “OK!” To him as she continued her search elsewhere.

Elfman trudged through the snow, his eyes scanned the cliffs, the edges and the ground. But  his eyes feel upon something on the ground. Could it be what he was hired to find? He approached the snow covered mound that defiantly wasn’t a rock underneath. “What the…?” He questioned as he got closer, he brushed some of the snow away to revile a woman, frozen in the snow. Frightened into a panic he quickly took his coat off and lifted you up off the ground. “S-She’s alive…” He said as he wrapped you up as tightly as he could in his coat. “LISANNA!” He shouted. “LISANNA COME QUICK!”

Lisanna, hearing her brother’s shouts came rushing towards him thinking that he had found what they set out to look for. “Did you find it?” She asked catching up to him, but gasped when he turned around. In his arms, a woman, unmoving. He hair like ice, her lips and eyelids blue and frozen. “We need to get her to warmth!” She said as  her and Elfman abandoned their job and set out down the mountain.

It was a race against time, neither of them knew how long you had been in the cold, or how long you had been covered under the snow…

Neither of them knew how long you had to live…

Bursting through the doors of the guild hall Lisanna rushed to the bar. “Mira! We need you quick!”

The hall went silent as Mira rushed to her sister. But her question was answered when Elfman stepped through the door. “Lets get her by the fire.” Mira said as she rushed Elfman up stairs and into one of the many rooms of the guild. “Natsu!” She shouted. “We need fire!”

Natsu, without any hesitation rushed up to the room and instantly started a roaring fire in the fire place. “There, I hope that works.” He said, though he was usually an air head, he knew it was a time of seriousness and made sure he did things right.

“Thank you Natsu.” Mira said as she began to push him and Elfman out the door. “You two out for now.” She said closing the door in their faces.

Elfman kept a wide eye stair. “I-I…” He said unsure on how to react.

“It’s alright big guy. They will make sure your friend is ok.” Natsu reassured him.

“But… I have no idea who she is… I found her like this…”

Natus was a bit surprised by this. “Oh… well either way, I’m sure she will be alright. Wendy will help too when she gets back.”

Elfman gave another worried look towards the door. “Yeah… I hope so..”

“Ok Lisanna, help me get her out of these clothes.” Mira said as she laid you out in front of the fire. They stripped you down only to find an even more horrifying sight. Scars and fresh wounds littered your body. They looked at each other too shocked for words.

“Poor thing…” Lisanna said as she transformed into her giant purple rabbit. “I can hold her for extra warmth.”

“Good idea.” Mira said as she gathered as many blankets as she could wrapping you up in them as Lisanna held you close to her fury body. She sat as close to the fire as she could without it burning and waited.

Mira picked up your frozen clothing that was now melting from the heat. “None of this adds up…” Mira said softly. “I mean… the only thing I can really think of is that… she was abused…”

“I was thinking the same thing.” Lisanna said. “Especially after seeing the scars.

“Well, no matter what happened. Wee have to make sure she knows that she’s safe here.”

“Right. And about Elfman… he’s little in shock about this.”

“I’ll go talk to him.” Mira said. “You just stay in here, and don’t let her go.” She said and left the room walking back down to the guild hall, the members were still silent, in shock a bit after the intensity of the situation.

“Mira…” Elfman said as h saw his older sister approach. “How is she?”

“I’m not sure Elfman.” She said sitting by his side. “All we can do is wait.”

So Elfman did just that. He waited. A few days passed, your body temperature came back to normal. No more blue lips, eyelids, toes or fingers. You moved in your sleep. Tossed and turned as if you were having a nightmare.

Elfman took his leave as he and his sisters took shifts watching over you. “I’m sorry for what happened to you…” He said quietly to you before he let. “Please get better soon.”

Lisanna heard her brother’s plea before she entered the room. Her heart broke for you, and the sorrow her brother held didn’t help. “Alright Elfman, go get something to eat. It’s my turn.”

He nodded getting up from his chair. “Remember to get me right away if she wakes up for you.”

“Of course I will.” She smiled.

Elfman left the room and Lisanna took a seat. She looked you over a bit. You were facing her. She looked a bit closer… your eyelids moved a bit and your eyes fluttered open. You looked up at the strange girl and sat up quickly, terrified on where you were.

“It’s alright. Please don’t be afraid.” Lisanna said sweetly. “I’m Lisanna, my big brother and I found you on Mount Hakobe.”

“M-Mount Hakobe…?” You asked with a cracked voice. “W-Where am I now…?”

“The Fairy Tail Guild.” She smiled. “I you wait here for just a moment my brother is really worried about you and wants to bee informed once you woke up…”

“Worried…?” You asked confused. “About me?”

“Well yes… He found you frozen… and we practically brought you back to life. Just don’t move… I’ll go get him.” She left quickly leaving you to sit and wonder, still terrified.

“BIG BROTHER ELF!” Lisanna shouted through the guild. She rushed up to her brother panting. “She’s awake!”

Without a word Elfman raced up to the room. You jumped and gasped at the sound of the door opening. And even more fearful of the giant man walking through the doorway. “It’s… I-It’s good to see you… awake…” He said nervously. He sat down in the chair across from you.

“Y-Yes… I am feeling much better…”

He smiled a bit. “I’m glad to hear it. My name is Elfman… what’s your name?”

“(N-Name)…” You said quietly. “Are you the one that found me?”

“Yeah… My little sister and I were on a job… but instead of finding what we went to look for… we found you…”

“I-I’m sorry… I must have been such a burden for you…” You said looking away as you felt the tears burn in your eyes.

“W-What? Why would you think that? Once I found you, you were my number one priority.” You looked back over at him still in utter shock. “Tell me one thing… why were you on Mount Hakobe… alone… with no coat and hardly any clothing?”

“I-I…” You started, trying to hold back your tears… You had heard of the Fairy Tail Guild, the crazy stories about them, but also the fact that they were more like a family than anything… “I-I was a-abandoned… I was left...l-left for dead….”

“I am a man of my word, and I promise, I will help you with whatever it is you need. No need to be frightened of me, because a real man wouldn’t hurt or abandon anyone. And trust me, I’m a real man.”

“T-Thank you Elfman… T-Thank you…” You cried.
