Jealous Gajeel X Oblivious Reader Part 1





“EVERYONE!!!”

The whole guild stopped and looked over at Natsu and Happy who have just burst through the door.

“(NAME) IS BACK!!!!”

The guild hall erupted with gleeful cheering at the news! You were back! Back from a long mission the master had sent you on. You have been gone for two months, and now, you have returned!

Lucy had only met you once right after the Phantom Lord incident. She didn’t know you well but she was just as excited as the rest of them.

At the news Gajeel felt a shiver run down his back. He remembers the first day he met you as well, though it wasn’t a very welcoming meeting like the one Lucy had….

((Flash Back))

You exited the train at the Magnolia station. All the rumors you had heard about the Fairy Tail guild being under attack forced you to abandon a mission. But, it was for the best, your guild needed you and you were here to help what ever you could.

Your eyes widened at the sight of your destroyed guild hall, your home… but the others were already at work rebuilding.

“Master?” You called out. The small old man Makarov stepped forward as everyone else had wide smiles.

“Oh (Name) I wasn’t expecting you to be back so soon.” Master Mokarov said with a small wave. “How was your mission?”

You froze for a moment. ‘Oh crapazoids he’s gonna kill me!’ you panicked in your head

“I-I didn’t finish it.” You said plainly.

Everyone was shocked! You of all people didn’t finish a mission!? How!?! You were too stubborn to stop anything unfinished and yet here you are! Back! From an unfinished job!

“It’ alright (Name)” Erza said “We’re just happy to see you.”
“Thanks.” You smiled “Now, where are these two ex-dark guild people?” You asked with a wicked smile

The other cringed a bit at the sight.

“(Name) can be as scary as Erza…” Happy said

“Yeah….BUT SHE’S BACK AND SHE CAN FIGHT ME!” Natsu shouted with flames shooting from his mouth.

“So which one is Gajeel?”

The two Ex-Phantom Lord members gave you questioning looks.

“Who the hell do you think lady!?” The Iron Dragon Slayer stood up with his hands balled into fists.

“Heh, I guess that was a dumb question.” You gave a nervous chuckle. “But never mind that…” You said stepping a bit closer. “You hurt Lucy…you must pay…” A dark aura draped over you.

Gajeel stepped back a bit in fear and Juvia stiffened in fear as well.

Once you were finished with Gajeel you pushed him back into the room with Juvia.

She looked at him in horror. His face was pale and he was frozen from fear. She gulped, she was  next.

((End Flash Back))

Though that day you didn’t do any physical damage you certainly put the fear of the Gods into him. In return Gajeel developed….something for you. He wasn’t sure if he just plain respected you or if he was madly in love with you. Either way, he was just as excited you were back, though he didn’t show it….

A few moments later you walked through the door, limping and covered in bandages….

The guild hall was now filled with the sounds of everyone’s gasps from shock.

You gave a weak smile to everyone before you collapsed and passed out face first on the floor.

“Yeah I got it from here.” Grey said as Elfman left your bed side, everyone was taking shifts and Grey was next to sit by your side in case you woke up or needed anything.

“Geez (Name), what did you get yourself into this time?” Grey asked quietly leaning forward. “You are one crazy woman.”

“Grey is with her now and I think Cana is next.” Mira said to Lucy

“Yeah, I was with her before Elfman and Natus was before me.” Lucy said “She’s been out for two days, what happened?”

Gajeel was getting pissed, everyone but him was able to sit by your side. Even Juvia had a turn, and it was Freed who had carried you in his arms to the hospital.

He could feel his blood boil in anger. Was he even on the list? Could he get his turn to be in the room alone with you? Even if you didn’t wake up while he was there, he would at least be by your side…

“Oh Gajeel..” Mira said with a sweet smile. “You’ll get your turn I promise.”

“What are you blabberin’ about?” Gajeel asked bitterly

“Oh Gajeel you’re so cute.” Mira giggled

Lucy chuckled and Gajeel stood from his seat “I’m outta here!” He shouted storming off.

“Mira.” Lucy started

“Oh yes Lucy, Gajeel is in love with (Name).” Mira smiled

Your eyes slowly opened and you groaned.

“(Name).” Grey said softly

You turned and looked over at him. “Grey, your clothes…” You said weakly

Grey looked down surprised “You shouldn’t be worrying about where my clothes are! You need to worry about getting better!” He demanded

“Ah Grey, I missed you. But not your stripping.” You chuckled lightly

“Sheesh j-just get better would ya?” He grumbled and blushed a bit.

But…

When Gajeel stormed off he ended up at the hospital…and outside of your room…

“Ah Grey, I missed you. But not your stripping.” He heard you chuckle lightly from inside

“Sheesh j-just get better would ya?” He heard Grey grumble

‘Did he just stutter!? Everyone knows that when you stutter you’re in love with the reader!’ Gajeel shouted in his head. He hands balled into fists so hard his knuckles truned white. Grey was in there alone with you! And for whatever reason… Gajeel hated it.

“Hey Grey?” You asked sitting up. “Could you get me some water?”

“Uh yeah sure.” He said standing. “I’ll be right back.”

Grey opened the door and stepped out closing it behind him. “Gajeel?” He asked surprised “Is it shift change or something? If it is then I’m surprised they even put you on the list.”

“Move it stripper!” Gajeel said shoving Grey out of the way.

“Hey man! Watch it!” Grey shouted

And let the head butting commence…

“What the hell is going on out here!?” You shouted throwing the door open.

“Why don’t I get to look after her?”

“Because she doesn’t trust you!”

“How the hell do you know that?”

“The way she looks at you, that’s how!”

Your eye twitched in irritation “STOP IT!”

The two froze in their spot

“What the hell are you doing here Gajeel!?”

“Damn it! This is stupid!” Gajeel shouted and stormed off

Everyone was happily cheering for your recovery, and it didn’t take long for the drinks to come full force and a party to begin.

Mira was on stage singing, and there is one thing you have to do when there is music! Dance!!!

You grabbed the closest person to you and drug them out to the dance floor, it just so happened to be Macao.

“Whoa (Name) slow it down a bit.” Macao laughed as he danced with you “I’m not as good as I once was.”

Gajeel watched from afar, his eyes green with jealousy. “She’s dancing with the old guy and not me!” He stormed off only to return moments later shooing Mira off the stage…

You heard the strum of a guitar but it wasn’t Mira’s. You stopped dancing and looke dup on the stage…there he was in all his rock n’ roll glory. Gajeel all suited up with his white suit and hat, and his sunglasses, and don’t forget that guitar….oh that guitar…. Your heart began to race at the sight.

“This song is for (Name)!” Gajeel sang with another strum of his guitar

Your jaw dropped in surprise and the others all came quiet.

“(Name)! Shooby doo bop! Let me love you!!!! Shooby doo bop DAMNIT!!”

Natsu immediately burst out laughing while your face flushed the deepest of reds.

“(Name)!” He sang louder “I love you shooby doo damnit.”

You weren’t sure if you should smile, run away, or laugh….one thing you did know was, that Gajeel had lost his mind.

The left side of your face twitched as he sang on about how much he loved you.

“Whatta ya say (Name)?” He asked with one last strum

All eyes were on you as everyone one awaited your answer….

“I umm….I don’t know what to say Gajeel…..”

“JUST LOVE ME DAMN IT!”

“I DO LOVE YOU DAMN IT!” You shouted back and raced off. But Gajeel wasn’t far behind as he hopped off stage and ran after you.

“Oh my how cute.” Mira smiled

“Sure….cute…?” Lucy said

Gajeel caught up to you and grabbed your arm yanking you back into him.

“Gajeel let go!” You shouted trying to get away

“Do you really love me too?” He asked not letting go.

“Yes!” You shouted as you stopped struggling “I do. But you’re such a pompous ass I figured you couldn’t love me back!”

“I’m a what?’

“A POMPOUS ASS!”

“NO! I’M NOT A POMPOUS ASS! YOU JUST KEPT FLIRTING WITH EVERY OTHER GUY!”

“Flirting…? I don’t flirt.”

Gajeel pace palmed “Yes. You do. And they flirt back.”

You smirked “So you were jealous….?”

Gajeel grumbled and you could see a light blush over his cheeks

“Come here you pompous ass.” You said bringing him for a kiss.
