Takashi Morinozuka XReader Chapter 35



Haruhi covered you up as you napped on the couch in the club room. She was worried, everyone was. Their poor little princess was still in the hospital, and tomorrow was surgery day.

Not much talking was going on between the remaining members of the host club, they were all too saddened and still in shock over everything. “I’m going to go get some coffee for (Name) when she wakes up…” Haruhi said and the twins nodded to her as she left the room.

She walked the halls with her own sadness drooping over her features. She didn’t even know what to do, or what to say to you and Mori. She did what she could, she came to the hospital every day, everyone did… she helped you with the school work you had missed, and she gave encouraging words, though she wasn’t how well they actually helped.

“Have you seen (Name)?” One girl asked another group. Haruhi stopped to listen. “She’s so caught up in planning her wedding with Mori that she’s been skipping school, and sleeping in class when she’s here!”

“Yeah, you would think that the Morinozuka’s would want someone a little more responsible to be part of their family.” Another said.

Haruhi found herself getting angry at their words, she knew they didn’t know the situation, but that didn’t given the right to say things like that! “Why don’t you guys just mind your own business!” Haruhi practically shouted. “There is much more going on right now than a wedding, in fact, wedding plans have been put on hold! So unless you know the situation why don’t you keep your damn mouths shut and stay out of (Name) and Mori’s life! She doesn’t need people like you making it even harder for her! So stop being so damn nosey and get on with your own lives for once!”

The girls were speechless as Haruhi stormed past them down to the café to get your coffee. Haruhi stood in line to get your coffee, it was a pretty long line because it was lunch time so she was unaware of what was happening in music room three..

“Does (Name) look… red?” Hikaru asked.

“She does…” Kaoru said placing the back of his hand on your forehead. “She’s burning up…”

“I’m calling Mori…” Hikaru quickly pulled out his phone and hit the speed dial button.
At the hospital Mori found it odd that his phone was ringing, and when he saw that it was Hikaru calling. Without hesitation he answered leaving the room where he and Honey were entertaining your little girl. “Yeah?” He answered.

“Hey… Mori, we don’t mean to bother you or worry you… but (Name) has a fever… anyway you could get her a car to take her home?” Hikaru told Mori, a bit afraid that Mori might get mad for some reason.

“I’ll come get her. Thank you Hikaru.” Mori said as he hung up the phone. He entered the room again where Honey and your little girl sat playing a game. “I’m going to get (Name)…”

“Is she alright?” Honey asked.

“Daddy?”

Mori smiled at the little girl. “I’m going to get mommy.” He said as he kissed her cheek. She looked up at him a bit confused but she was too preoccupied by the gamer her and Honey were playing.

Mori and Honey gave each other a look telling each other that it was all going to be alright in the end, and Mori then turned and left to go get you from school himself.

“Mori said he’s coming to get her himself.” Hikaru said.

“Should have known he would, he’s just as worried about (name) as he is about (Girl’s name).” Kaoru added.

“In all honesty I’m more worried about (Name)… she isn’t taking this whole thing very well…”

“Can you blamer her? It’s her daughter, any mother, well…” Kaoru paused a moment. “Any good mother would be worried to the point of sickness…”

“True…” Hikaru said slouching in his seat. “Everything will be easier for us once we graduate… at least for (Name) and Mori…”

Kaoru nodded as he sat next to his brother and leaned on him. “Hell, it will be easier after (Girl’s name) is better and healed.”

Haruhi stood impatiently in line. She fidgeted with her hands and groaned annoyed a few times at the other students. She was almost to the counter when a few girls gasped and a strong hand landed on her shoulder. “Haruhi.”

She turned to look up at Mori. “Hey… what are you doing here?” She asked casually.

“Getting (Name).”

“Oh, well I was getting her some coffee for when she woke up…”

“No need.” He said pulling her with him out of the line as they headed back up to the club room.

As soon as the door was open Mori knelt down by the couch you were laying on felt your head, defiantly hot to the touch. He gently moved some hair from your face and you woke up slowly. “Takashi?”

He smiled at you. “Yeah.” He said and you sat up a bit rubbing your overly tired eyes.

“Did I sleep through the rest of school?” You asked, your voice cracked from dehydration.

He shook his head. “Come on.” He said helping you to your feet. He grabbed your bag and straightened out your messy hair. “You’re sick.”

You nodded agreeing, too weak to protest which normally you would. “Thanks guys..” You smiled weakly at Hikaru, Kaoru and Haruhi as Mori walked you out the door.

“Poor (name)…” Haruhi sighed.

The twins nodded as the three spent the rest of the period in silence.

….

Bad got to worse when you got to the hospital. “What do you mean I can’t see her!” You shouted.

“You are sick (Name), if you were to get her sick, the surgery would have to be postponed and we can’t afford to let that happen, who knows when she will have another episode.”  The doctor explained.

So now you were sick and you couldn’t even be in the same room as your daughter, fearing that she might get sick too. Tears fell from your eyes as Mori pulled you close. “I-It’s not fair…”

The doctor sighed and did what he needed before he left the room. You looked up at Mori teary eyed, he too had tears in his eyes. “It’s going to be alright.” He said softly.

“Stay with her…” You said. “I’ll see you tomorrow when she gets out o surgery.”

“Are you sure?”

You nodded. “Yes. She needs you. I’ll be alright. Haruhi and the others will be by later.”

He nodded and kissed you deeply showing you just how much he loved you with out using words. You kissed back just hard showing your love right back before he broke the kiss and stood up. He gave you one last sad smile before leaving the room.

You curled up in a ball on the hospital bed and cried until you fell asleep.

When you woke up, you didn’t realize how long you had slept. You looked at the clock and it was only said it was an hour after Mori had taken you to the hospital. Little did you know, it was one whole day plus that hour. 25 in total.

Confused you sat up to see Haruhi, she was on the phone with someone. “Ok, good.” She smiled a bit. “Yeah I’ll let you know when she wakes up Mori.” She listened to Mori on the other end. “Yeah, just let me know if you need anything else. Alright. Bye.” She hung up the phone and when she turned around seeing you awake she gave you a huge smile.

“How long have I been asleep?” You asked.

“An entire day.” She smiled and sat by your bed side.

“And (Girl’s name)?” You asked.

“Fine, she got out of surgery over 10 hours ago.”

“S-She isn’t… hurt or anything is she?” You asked as the tears came back.

Haruhi wasn’t sure how to answer that… “Well, I told Mori I would call him once you woke up.” She said taking out her phone and dialing up Mori, she completely ignored your question. “Yeah she’s awake.” She said into the phone. “Ok, I’ll tell her. Bye.” She turned back to you. “Mori is on his way here. The doctors said you can see her now that she’s out of surgery and that your fever has gone down.”

Mori was there in a matter of seconds smiling as he entered the room. You sat up in bed and he helped you out. “She’s waiting for you.” He said as he helped you up a robe on and walk you out the door.

Haruhi wasn’t far behind following the two of you, but she paused when she saw the one girl from the day before who was saying stuff about you, the one she told off. “I don’t know what’s going on, but I think I kind of understand now.” She said.

“Done being nosy?” Haruhi scoffed.

“Y-Yes..” She said lowering her head.

“Alright then.” Haruhi said as she continued her walk down the hall.

‘But… I still want to know…’ The girl though to herself as she turned to enter another room. “Hey mom, ho ware you feeling?” She gave a sad smile to here mother who laid in the hospital bed.

When you entered the room you were greeted with a big smile and an excited sounding. “Mommy!”

You tried your hardest to smile, she had staples all throughout her head, and her beautiful black hair was gone. “H-Hi sweetie.” You smiled with tears. You hugged her gently and kissed her cheek.

When Haruhi entered she shut the door behind her and smiled a bit. “I told you it would be alright Mori…”

“Yeah.” He smiled a bit at you and the little princess the two of you created together. “You were right, Haruhi.”
